  April 2, 2008 2:40 PM EDT

-- "Beyond the Four Walls of Retail" will offer solutions for innovation in retail supply chains --

Who:   Inovis President and CEO Sean Feeney

    When:  April 10, 2008; 10:15-11:00 a.m.

Where: Global Retailing Conference 2008; Loews Ventana Canyon Resort; Tucson, Arizona  Hosted by The Terry J. Lundgren Center for Retailing

What:  In his presentation, "Beyond the Four Walls of Retail," Feeney will explore the challenges of a demand-driven supply chain and recommend collaborative solutions.
-- While technology has delivered tremendous innovation and power to retail customers, it has also created many challenges for retailers by way of a more complex supply chain.
-- Global sourcing is lengthening supply chains and fulfillment is becoming more complex with changes in delivery models (direct-to-consumer, direct-to-store, etc). As a result, retailers are finding it more and more difficult to respond quickly to changes in consumer demand.
-- Some of the top names in retailing are looking beyond their four walls to collaborate with suppliers to deliver innovation in their supply chains and improve shared business processes.
