Bio
My name is Kiersten Abraham and I am a junior Retailing & Consumer Sciences student. I am proud to say this is my third semester on the Terry J. Lundgren Student Advisory Board and excited to be serving as Vice Chair for the semester. It is an honor to be working with an amazing group of people in a promising, booming industry. Here I am able to work outside of the classroom applying retail strategies, business knowledge, and creativity while networking with all of our Corporate Partners. This is my first semester in the Professional Program and I have never felt so engaged in classroom discussions
and projects. I can honestly say that choosing this major and applying for a position on the board has been an ultimate turning point in my life.
I have the opportunity to be liaison once again for Nestle Purina, Neiman Marcus, and the International Council of Shopping Centers. Over the course of the semester I hope to establish a stronger relationship with the three companies while promoting their company name and showcasing their career and internship opportunities. I know that I have finally found my niche, thus I
cannot stress enough the positive influence I have received as an honored member of the board. I feel that everyone should find a place they feel accepted and that is why my door is always open! Don't ever hesitate to contact me with questions/concerns about the Student Advisory Board, the major, or even just to talk!
Oh and remember, "All our dreams can come true - if we have the courage to pursue them."
