Bio
Hello, my name is Christina Moreno and I am a junior in the Retailing and Consumer Sciences College. The rapid changing environment of the retail industry and the endless opportunities it presents is what led me to choose this as my major. Throughout all my retail classes and recent trip to New York for the National Retail Federation Conference I find myself being continuously intrigued by this industry everyday. The complexity behind the retail industry and the vast opportunities it presents, never ceases to amaze me. As I begin my first semester on the Advisory board, I have been privileged to serve as a liaison for Payless Shoe Source as well as Harry and David. I look forward to working closely with these companies to help plan for successful visits to campus and providing students with information about their many career, professional development and internships opportunities. I am also excited to be able to work with a group of individuals who are as passionate about their major and the retail industry as I am. Together, I hope we can create a greater awareness of our major around campus of and in the corporate world. I look forward to a great and productive semester!
