Christy Holcomb
My name is Christy Holcomb and I am very excited to begin my first semester on the Student Advisory Board as a junior in the Retailing and Consumer Sciences professional program. I am an honors student working toward a double major in RCSC and Business Management. My experience with the Terry J. Lundgren Center has amplified my passion for the fast-paced retail industry and the creativity involved. I feel privileged to be part of a program that exposes students to a variety of career paths, scholarships, multifaceted disciplines, and networking opportunities with today’s retail leaders.
After gaining knowledge from RCSC courses and experiencing employment with Macy’s Inc., I am most interested in pursuing merchandising, buying, or marketing following graduation. As part of the Student Advisory Board’s conference committee, I look forward to organizing the Center’s participation in the Global Retailing Conference as well as working with a driven team of retail students. The opportunity to network work with the Center’s Corporate Advisory Board partners is unique to this program and has made the RCSC experience at the University of Arizona invaluable to me. I am very excited to continue taking advantage of the many resources the TJL Center has to offer and working with the Student Advisory Board to make the RCSC experience the best that it can be for all students and partners.
