Christina Moreno
My name is Christina Moreno and I am a graduating senior in the Retailing and Consumer Sciences major. During my last semester I am honored and excited to continue serving as Vice Chair for the Student Advisory Board. With this position I am looking forward to promoting the uniqueness of the Terry J. Lundgren Center for Retailing and all the incredible opportunities it presents.
As Vice Chair I am also responsible for leading the Fundraising Committee whose primary goal is to raise the funds for the Future Retail Leader Scholarship which is given to an outstanding retail student at the end of the academic year. This semester I have the opportunity to act as the liaison for JCPenney and Harry & David. I look forward to working closely with these companies to help plan successful visits to campus and provide students with information about their many career, professional development, and internship opportunities.
Upon graduation I will be heading to Dallas to work at the buying offices of JCPenney Corporate! I am thrilled to have the ability to work with a group of individuals who are as enthusiastic about their major and the retail industry as I am. Together, I hope we can generate a greater awareness of our major around campus and in the corporate world - especially with our amazing new building!
