Scott Rising
Hello, I'm Scott Rising and I am a junior RCSC major. This is my third semester on the board and I am the liaison for Dick's Sporting Goods and ICSC. The aspect I find most engaging about the retailing industry is the combination of creative and analytical skills required to be successful. Perhaps even more than most industries, innovation is paramount and those able to adapt to generation Y will find themselves industry leaders in the years to come. With this in mind I am heading up the social networking on behalf of the board in order to improve our outreach efforts to students. This summer I will be pursuing a buying/merchandising internship with Walmart in their Hardlines division and am thrilled for the opportunity.
