Norman Korn is the Retail solution specialist for Avnet Technology Solutions, Americas. In this role Norm works with Avnet’s clients and business partners to assist them with the identification, development, marketing and sales of IT solutions and offerings within the Retail, Consumer Products and Hospitality industries.  He is responsible for ensuring that Avnet’s Partners are current on the latest global and industry trends to enable them to position and deliver relevant IT solutions that best meet the needs and requirements of Retail, Consumer Products and Hospitality end users.
Norm joined Avnet in 2013 as a Business Development Manager for Retail.  Prior to joining Avnet he worked 18 years at a Fortune 100 computer services firm as a data analyst, business consultant, marketing & operations manager, and partner development manager.  In these roles he managed and led large BPR (Business Process Re-engineering) and ERP engagements, managed marketing & operations for an internal group developing and building emerging retail soluitons, and developed an ecosystem of 100+ ISVs and SIs for the Retail, CGP and T&T verticals, He is a graduate of the University of Minnsota with a BA in Political Science and an MBA in Business Administration.
