Rachel Mushahwar heads Intel’s Global Retail/Hospitality/CPG for the Internet of Things Group (IOTG). Her focus is on enabling retail, hospitality and consumer packaged goods companies to realize the value of connected, managed, secure devices in responding to and analyzing data collected in the retail stores, in the cloud or in the back office. She advances new initiatives with CSuite execs to help them shape and refine their strategic roadmap to create the store/hotel/CPG company of the future.
Mushahwar came to Intel from PetSmart where she was there for nearly 10 years, as Vice President of Global Enterprise Applications, she was responsible for retail technology strategy and development and technology support for all segments of the company, domestic and international. She has been in consulting, retail, hospitality, CPG and logistics her entire career and has firsthand knowledge of PCI, Data Security, PII, Point of Sale, Property Management Systems, Store Systems, Analytics, Marketing, Supply Chain, Merchandise, HR, Finance, Real Estate, Legal, and Charities technology. Additionally, she leads global alliances/executive partnerships with all the Tier 1 System Integrator and Enterprise Software Companies that cover Retail, Hospitality, Transportation, and CPG companies. She has held executive positions for several large Fortune 500 firms and has over 20+ years of broad, global industry leadership with experience in building, leading and executing $300+ million dollar initiatives, building new businesses, joint partnerships, Business Operations, IT Services, Application Teams, Off Shore Teams, System Integrators, Strategic Business Alignment, and Program Management Delivery Organizations across Asia, Europe, North America, and Australia.
Mushahwar holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and an MBA in International Business (both summa cum laude). She is a recent graduate from Columbia’s Graduate School of Business (’15) and has figured out how to have a fulfilling global career plus, four kids under 9 at home! She is an active supporter of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and is on the Steering Committee of the Women’s Leadership Council United Way (Phoenix) that works to create a lasting change in the Arizona. She spends time at Arizona State University guest lecturing in their graduate school on the business value created by leveraging Internet of Things, Data Security, Data Privacy, and the future of Retail.

Ellen is responsible for building and leading a new Vertical Partner Ecosystem Sales team . The organization leads the go-to-market and Sales Acceleration relationships with our top software and system integrator partners. Sales programs leverage partners’ sellers to drive revenue with mid-market customers. In 2015 and 1H 2016, Ellen managed the Geo Execution and ISV Sales teams working with SAP, VMWare, Red Hat and other key software partners. She defined/refined the role to support sales execution of Global programs at the geo level, ensuring engagement with partners’ sales leaders and coordination of programs to drive revenue. Ellen implemented a measurement system and updated operating models to ensure value was being delivered to the business.
