What is the Student Ambassador Board?
The Student Ambassador Board (SAB) is a student leadership organization within the Terry J. Lundgren Center for Retailing. Ambassadors serve as representatives of the Center while helping create experiences that connect students with each other, the TJLC, and industry.
Through SAB, students gain hands-on leadership experience, strengthen their professional skills, build relationships with corporate partners, and play an active role in some of the Center's signature programs and events.
What You'll do:
- Lead student workshops, activities, and initiatives.
- Connect with students, TJLC staff, alumni, and corporate partners.
- Support signature events including Retail Fuse and the Global Retailing Ideas Summit.
- Give Back by mentoring and supporting fellow students.
- Represent the Terry J. Lundgren Center at events and across campus.
- Build Community by encouraging students to get involved with the Center.

What We Ask of Our Ambassadors
SAB is more than a typical student club. Ambassadors are expected to actively participate and contribute throughout the semester.
Weekly:
1-hour mandatory SAB meeting
Throughout the semester:
Committee participation and manageable project responsibilities
Every few weeks:
Approximately 1–2 hours for SAB workshops, fundraising, professional development, or community-building activities
TJLC Events: Approximately 1 additional hour as needed to support special events and programs
The times and dates for these events will be provided early so you can incorporate them into your schedules, and they will be made with you in mind!
