TARGET - Operation Manager Intern - Regional Distribution Center - Phoenix, AZ

ALL ABOUT OUR SUPPLY CHAIN OPERATIONS INTERNSHIP
Experience firsthand what it’s like to lead a team within a Target Supply Chain Facility. This internship is a paid 40 hr./week, hands-on training program to develop and prepare for your operations leadership. As an Operations Intern, you’ll gain a realistic job preview into life as an Operations Manager over a defined period of time. Within this Operations Management internship, you will work closely with other managers and team members in the building to develop an understanding of how Target’s supply chain business works and what it takes to excel in a management role. You’ll lead and support the execution of daily operations by working beside your team members and learn to lead, motivate and influence a team, including the opportunity to lead a department.

Continued Career Guidance 

Through the Center, students and graduates are welcome to visit with our staff at anytime to receive one-on-one coaching on resume formatting, interview skills, development and use of a professional LinkedIn profile, cover letter writing and guidance on their career exploration. From there, we are able to connect students with opportunities that fit their specific interests and provide them with ways to gain the skills and experiences necessary to move in the direction they choose.

If you are looking to get started on your own, we encourage you to utilize the tools provided by the University of Arizona's Office of Student Engagement and Career Development, specifically the Wildcat Career Guide.

Students in the retailing and consumer sciences major can register for a meeting with Center staff via Handshake. Students who are not in the major can email us directly.
