Shelley Huff
Shelley Huff is an experienced executive leader and entrepreneur with over two decades of experience transforming omnichannel brands, driving growth, and leading high-impact transformations at some of the world’s most recognizable companies, including Walmart and Serta Simmons Bedding.
A seasoned CEO, President, and global retail leader, Shelley specializes in developing and executing growth strategies rooted in her deep expertise in retail, technology, and innovation. She has successfully navigated complex business landscapes, from digital transformation to financial restructuring, driving sustainable growth and operational excellence. Most recently, as CEO of Serta Simmons Bedding, she led the company through its post-COVID recovery and a highly complex Chapter 11 restructuring, ensuring long-term stability while revitalizing product innovation, strengthening brand equity, optimizing supply chains, and enhancing commercial execution.
Prior to Serta Simmons Bedding, Shelley served as a Global Officer at Walmart, where she was instrumental in shaping the company’s digital transformation strategy. She launched Walmart’s first omnichannel brand, The Pioneer Woman, which became a $350M brand in under a year, and introduced 10 digitally native, in-house brands, including Drew Barrymore Flower Home. She also served as President and CEO of Hayneedle.com, where she led its successful eCommerce integration into Walmart, streamlining operations and driving profitability. Beyond eCommerce, Shelley played a pivotal role in expanding Walmart’s capabilities across both digital and brick-and-mortar operations, successfully leading multi-billion-dollar P&Ls in the U.S. Division and strengthening Walmart’s omnichannel ecosystem.
Known for her ability to blend strategic vision with operational excellence, Shelley now advises C-level executives, private equity, venture capital, and institutional investors as the Founder and CEO of Huff Advisory, LLC. She provides expertise in strategy, brand development, merchandising, product innovation, partnerships, eCommerce, omni-channel retail, and AI-driven consumer experiences.
A servant leader at heart, Shelley is committed to fostering high-performance cultures and empowering teams to succeed. Inspired by her parents’ strong service mindset and deep community involvement, she has carried forward this legacy by championing mentorship, leadership development, and talent cultivation. Her passion for investing in others is reflected in her endowed scholarship, The Shelley Huff Scholarship for Dependents of Teachers, at the University of Arizona, which supports the next generation of leaders.
