Stressed After Midterms? Recharge at the Self-Care Pop-Up Event
After spring break and midterms, students are feeling stressed and in need of a reset. The Lundgren Consumer Science (LCS) Lab invites students to a self-care-focused Pop-Up with Purpose event. Located on the first floor of McClelland park, the event will be on April 1st from 12:15 to 4:15 p.m. The pop-up shop will also be open during this event.
“Finding my rhythm after coming back from spring break was difficult to say the least, trying to motivate myself again after the long break was very hard…” [said Nicole Rascon, a junior studying Retailing and Consumer Science at the University of Arizona.
Hosted in collaboration with CALES Wellness & Mental Health, the event will promote well-being and highlight resources, like their Elevate Evenings program, encouraging connection through peer support. With an on-site pastry-chef, attendees can enjoy freshly baked goods – because self-care should taste good, too.
Whether it’s a mental health rest, midday sweet treat, or just a break, you should treat yourself. Stop by the LCS Lab on April 1st and make self-care a part of your day – you deserve it!
About Pop-Ups with Purpose
The LCS Lab hosts Pop-Ups with Purpose events throughout the semester to provide hands-on learning opportunities and build community. Organized by student interns, these events highlight retail experience, promote campus resources, and showcase products from nine student vendors.
